VISIT OF THE UKRAINIAN FIREFIGHTERS UNDER SOCIAL PREVENTION PROJECT
In duration 31st July-5th August 2022 representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine from regions: Rivne, Volyn and Lviv visited Poland getting to know functioning of the educational rooms in the State Fire Service Units.
Visit started the first step of three years partnership program under project titled: „Support for social prevention in Ukraine through the development of education for the safety of children and youth using educational rooms”.
Project is realized by the Main School of Fire Service (SGSP) in collaboration with the National Headquaters of the State Fire Service and State Emergency Service of Ukraine from polish development cooperation fundings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs RP.
The aim of the visit were arrangements between units about actions planned under project. Presented were also four educational rooms in: Warsaw, Leginowo, Chorzow and Radom. Meetings allowed for better evaluation of potencial places in which will be created educational rooms in Ukraine in the next steps of project.
Following actions allowed to present the best practices and solutions in terms of possibilities of immplementation under organization of the social prevention in Ukraine. In meetings on the representatives side attended appointees from SGSP and the National Headquaters of the State Fire Service.
The main goal of the project was suport in creating in fire service structure in Ukraine conditions to prepare practical and theoretical educational activities in the field of fire security and gaining knowledge to propoer behaviour during hazards.
In order to do so it is planned to adopt solutions which are efficiently functioning in PSP, which is opening educational rooms. Under this concept it is necessary to ensure useful didactics materials and training in formula: „train the trainers” of those whom will be responsbile for realising classes with pupils and adaptation and buying equipment for rooms. In order to realize the project it is planned to choose and adopt minimum three places/educational rooms.
