SGSP WITH ELIGIBILITY TO GRANT WITH DOCTORALS AND POSTDOCTORALS DEGREES IN TWO SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINES
The Ministry of Education and Science awarded SGSP with the highest cathegory in quality evaluation for science activity in dutation 2017-2021 – A+ in discipline of Security Science and A in discipline of Environmental Engineering, mining and energetics.
Due to the new regulations, specified in the act from 20th July 2018 – Right about the higher education and science – starting from 25th August 2022 SGSP will be a unit which has eligibility to grant with both doctorals degree and postdoctorals degree in the following disciplines: Security Science and Environmental Engineering, mining and energetics.
Rights to award with doctorals and postdoctorals degree in specific discipline are given to those units whom in this discipline received scientific cathegory A+, A or B+.
SGSPS is continuously developing and innovative science-didactic unit which provides with high quality in education and leding scientific researches. One of our main assets is highly qualified academic staff.

One of the breakthrough events in SGSP’s history was acheiving rights to award with doctorals degree in the field of technical science in discipline of Environmental Engineering (currently Environmental Engineering, mining and energetics) in June 2016. Year later, in October 2017 was granted with rights to award with doctorals degree in social science in discipline of Security Science.
