VISIT OF THE FIRE RESCUE CHIEFS FROM UKRAINE, LATVIA, LITHUANIA AND ESTONIA

Visit of the Fire Rescue Chiefs from Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia

On the 6th of September 2022 the Main School of Fire Service (SGSP) hosted Chiefs of the Fire Rescue Service from Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Meeting was realized during three day’s visit of the delegation in Poland, during which Chiefs of the resue services will visit other organizational units of the Fire State Service (PSP).

During visit at SGSP was a meeting of the Vice-Minister SW Yevhenem Volodymyrovich YENIN and other guests with Rector-Commandant bg Mariusz Feltynowski, Bsc, Phd, Assoc. Prof. SGSP. During meeting were presented varios asspects of cooperation and mission of our University and also engagement of the SGSP’s academic society in humanitarian aid for Ukraine. Guests visited Fire Rescue Unit of SGSP and selected laboratories: Department of Chemical and Ecological Rescue, Department of Extinguishing and Neutralizing Agents, Department of Hydromechanics and Water Supply, Department of Combustion and Explosion Process Theory, and Department of Fire Fighting Operations.

Visit was realized in cooperation with Fire State Service. From the Fire State Service the meeting attended: nadbryg. Arkadiusz Przybyła Deputy Commander in Chief of PSP, st. bryg. Marek Piekutowski Director, st. bryg. mgr inż. Krzysztof Pietrasik Deputy Director and mł. kapt. Grzegorz Trzeciak.
