In duration 22nd – 25th May 2023 in Ljublana, Slovenia representatives of the Main School of Fire Service, col. Adrian Bralewski, PhD and Monika Wachnik, MSc took part in conference organized yearly by EFSCA (European Fire Service Colleage’s Association). This years conference was related to the scope of firefighters trainings in state service as a part of preparations, prevention and response to hazardous accidents conneted with the use of dangerous materials.
EFSCA currently gathers firefighting centers and fire organizations from various european countires. Association’s main goal is to ensure formal working relations between representatives of member countries. Within three working groups are discussed issues connected with innovations, research and development as well as educational programs for firefighters to ensure meeting with the needs in the field of education and development. Presented are also new solutions and good practices. In 2024 the Main School of Fire Serivce will be a host of similar conference.
Participation in EFSCA meetings for SGSP strenghtens our prestige in scientific-didactics potencial as a organizational unit of the Fire State Service.
