MEETING OF THE DIRECTORS OF CIVIL PROTECTION AND FIREFIGHTING SCHOOLS

Vice-Rector for Qality and Students col. Zdzisław Salamonowicz, PhD., ENG., attended as a representative from the Main School of Fire Service in the meeting of the Directors of Civil Protecion and Fire Engineering Schools in Sweden.

Event was organised under the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the EU, the second meeting of the Directors of European Civil Protection and Firefighting schools aims at opening discussions to find synergies at a European level.

The meeting was structured around two main objectives. Firstly, establishing a common framework for sharing interoperable results from all different kinds of activities and thereby further developing the network of European civil protection and firefighting training schools. Secondly, to continue the development of a scalable pedagogical model for a Community of Knowledge within the framework of the Knowledge Network.

Representatives of the member and participating states in executive or high-level positions in the field of civil protection or firefighting training and education will be attended this meeting.
