VISIT OF THE DG ECHO REPRESENTATIVE

On 14th June at the Main School of Fire Service we have hosted Mr Artur Malantowicz – representative of the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO).

During visit our guest had an opportunity to familiarize with the structure and functioning of the Main School of Fire Service, including scientific-research offer, potencial in research and in international projects. Discussed were also issues connected with traverse training and new fields of study in our didactis offer.

From the Main School of Fire Service side in the meeting attended: Rector-Commandant BG Mariusz Feltynowski, BSc, PHD Associate Professor, col., Paweł Gromek, Dsc, Associate Professor, Director of the Institute of Safety Engineering col. Adam Krasuski, DSc. ENG, and Head of the International Cooperation Deparment Mrs Monika Wachnik, Msc.

Closer cooperation in the field of civil protection is one of the key elements in the strategy for development of International cooperation.
